Our Farm

After 25 years of dressage training and breeding, Robin Vaugn- Strait, owner of Finer Things Farm has produced top quality amateur and professional Hanoverians from the most sought after German and US bloodlines. Robin started riding under FEI region 2 young rider coach Roz Kinstler at the age of 9. She has most recently studied with George Williams and German Bereiters Alex Gerding, Kathrin Stehr and Hans-Dieter Menglesdorf. Robin makes frequent trips to Germany to study, ride, and find dressage horses for clients, including regularly importing horses from Germany and abroad.

Robin believes a dressage education is never finished. Striving to learn more, she encourages frequent sessions and clinics with other FEI trainers and riders. She attends USDF and USEF educational seminars on young horse training, judging & riding as well as the health and general well being of our horses yearly.

Robin attended Tri-county Technical College studying Equine Management and Breeding , she is also the owner of “The Clothes Horse” selling imported Rambo & Bucas blankets. Robin is a USDF  “L” judge graduate and accredited USDF member. Today she is an active breeder and life member of the US Hanoverian Society, breeding and starting her own young horses and would love to help you find your new dressage prospect.
